its for a 4.2L how do i get it off??? or where can i get a new one??

There is a handy tool for taking the pully off. Some parts houses rent them.

ok ive tried a three arm puller and my press and they both just bend the pulleys.....

the three arm puller will not work, i tried that
the reson the correct puller will work is it grabs the pully right in the center and pulls it off. it works cause it grabs right where the pully has the most material and it is a gaurnteed perfect pull it will not rotate off axis like a 3 jaw puller..

ok well i ruined the 2 good pulles i had and no parts store around me has a pulley for my cj7 where can i get one that will fit?? its an 85 258 4.2L

try a junk yard anythign w/the 258 should work, i cant find any one either srry

there is a junk yard down here that specializes in jeep. it's called all american salvage. it's in rahway nj. 732-574-1945
