I know my hub self destructed while flat towing last wheeling trip. Im going to replace one if not both and was just wondering if there is any out there that are better than stock replacements? Just wondering...

i just replaced both of mine on my YJ. I couldn't find any heavy duty ones, so i got ones with a lifetime warrenty from carquest. they were $20 more than the ones with a 90 day warrenty.

Warn locking hub and axle conversion, the only thing turning on the road in the front drive train is your wheel and the hub bearing. Your jeep will thank you for it. ;)

Yes, but I'd rather just replace the hub assembly for now, instead of spending the nearly 1k to do the hub conversion. I'm going to spend the other money on a trailer so I dont have to flat tow anymore. So as of now I guess my options are stock replacements?

With those 35” tires you’d be better off to upgrade. I don’t know of any heavy duty OEM/aftermarket replacements…

I ran my 36's for 2 years whithout problems, so if i can get away with it now I'm going to just replace the assembly. Maybe start saving my change for the conversion.

Nobody that I know of makes a HD factory style hub assy for the D30. The factory Jeep stuff is probably the strongest you will find due to all the rigorous field testing they have to go through to make it into production.

I took one apart from an early Cherokee d30 and it only had 1 cup and cone for the bearing, go figure?
Well at least they are easy enough to change. I ended up buying my replacements through Q-tec.

I (and many others that I know) ran 35's with the OEM hubs for a couple of years (before I did the WJ/Warn/CTM, etc change over) through some of the toughest trails around with not problems at all.

Factory is usually best with these things. The parts house stuff is usually made with cheap bearings. You get what you pay for with hubs/bearings.
