hey guys my jeep told me her name and now i want to paint it on the sides of the hood.
i've made a stencil for it, but the stencil is for the outline, which wil be sprayed black, i want the inside lettering solor to remain white, so can i just take some sandpaper and scuff the basic area and then spray the stencil and clear coat this when i'm done??
or will i have to scrape it all off, prime it, and re-paint the white parts also??
also, has anyoen doen any hand-painting on vehicles?? if so what kind of brush do you use for it??

Why not just have a sticker made?
I have a buddy that paints things by hand, and he uses a fine pointed brush, but he's good, doesn't use stencils or anything. I have no idea how he can manage to keep his hand that steady.
Seriously, last couple batches of stickers I"ve had made, using my own custom images/logos, they have been under $10 each for windshield size banners, usaually $20 or so for 10 bumper sticker size stickers.

Are you kidding me, just search on the internet, there is plenty of decal shops. Also, alot of flea markets have sticker printer booth things. Please never pay anyone 65 for a stickers.

Also a lot of folks with "e-bay stores" that sell stickers will have a contact us for custom jobs link. Might try that too.

I originally used eBay, and ordered some customer stickers from several different companies. Some turned out good, some turned out not so good, I even had one person that I sent the stickers back to they turned out so bad, in the end I chose this person:

I've had a bunch of stickers made from them now, from windshield banners, to bumper stickers featuring my logo, they all turned out great, and they are cheap. They are fast too, I always have my stickers within a week. Shoot them an email with what you are looking for, include some rough dimensions too.
