For all of you oil filter geeks that run "FL1A" sized filters.

Thanks for the link.. Remember that NAPA buys its filters from WIX. Note they have the same numbers for both brands.

Remember NAPA has different grades of filters. WIX only has one, which is the NAPA Gold equivalent. Some people get confused.

i like the ones that are easy to take off like the K&N cause you put a socket wrench in it to put it on and take it off
the grippy frams too but for some reason people on the BB dont like them

The filtering media, center tube, adbv valve composition and bypass location all make for different filters inside the shell. Don't believe me, go hit up the Bob is the oil guy forums.....you'll see what I mean.

Some people don't like Fram because they are overpriced for what they are. Many people use Frams and have for years, but there are better filters that cost the same or even less. Purolator is just one brand that smokes Fram and it costs less. I used to use Frams until I found the BITOG site.

Never saw that feature before. Might have to look into getting a K&N for my car next, its a PITA for me to change the filter due to clearance issues.

K&Ns are nice...made by the same company that makes the Mobil 1 filters.

Advanced Auto Parts is running a sale and rebate on Purolator air and oil filters right now. I loaded up on a few of each.

I don't see much of a difference in the filters.I guess that is why I lust after most tall, tan, skinny, women with big boobs and not oil filters. Small comparison I did myself,They all have a hard outter shell, a softer inside, and they come in all different colors, they all are different prices to get them home and they all have a place to screw somthing. The best thing I can find about the oil filer is it won't leave me for a better looking Jeep.
This is not to be taken seriously!! I do know the difference between a good woman and a bad one!!!
