Im having a lot of trouble getting the bolts out that attach the leaf springs to the frame. I can get the nuts off, its just that the bolt wont come out. Ive been bangin on it for a while and it just wont budge. Any help would be appreciated.

The bolt is probably rusted inside the metal sleeve in the bushing. Use a sawzall with a metal cutting blade and go between the hanger and the side of the bushing to cut the bolt. If you want to try and save the bushing, use a hammer and chisel to spread the sides of the spring hanger enough to get the blade in there. When your done, use a large crescent wrench sized to the thickness of the spring hanger to bend them back into shape. To try and get the bolt out intact at this point will be an exercise in futility, just cut it and be done with it. Less headaches that way.

when we did my brothers shakle lift a few years ago we went through like 20-30 blades or something like that
might try a grinder with a cut off blade

Forget the sawzall. Use a grinder with a cut off wheel. You'll be done in a couple seconds.

So i never even attempted the sawzall. Went right for the cut off wheel. I just cut through the spring and got that off, however the bolt and sleeve are still in there. But since i just bought new bolts, i wont have any problems getting them out. Hopefully i will have some time tomorrow to do some more cutting.
