Disaster Dan, what do you think? Its pointy. I actually like it looks pretty cool I think.

Still have to add two pieces of tube for braces for the stinger, and gear box skid, as well as two light tabs.

Kind of weird, that I've built several stingers now, and none of them are just traditional bent ones. Its good to be different though.

Yeah, it is different. I am going to go ahead and be the first to say it, I don't like it. Stingers just aren't my liking anyway.

It was dark out by the time we got it done, so no pictures of it on the Jeep yet. Still have some finishing stuff to do, but at least its on the Jeep:

The lights are actually fairly straight when they are adjusted right. We'll be hooking those up Friday night just before the trip, so hopefully we'll see if the extra money for the KC brand is worth it.

That actually came together pretty cool. Easier than a regular stinger I imagine too...

I'm gonna go with "I don't really care for it" for $1000, Alex.

Whatever floats your boat, man.

Awesome dude!!! Now build me one, that way I can knock down trees, and split them at the same time..... save me a load of work.

Honestly though, I think it's definitely unconventional, and I agree with the "midieval" concept. And I do think that would look wicked on my heep, but I'd add a chunk of oversized chainmaille hanging under the main hoop for 'rad protection'.
