Ok our trip to Chillicothe was absolutely freezing! They got a lot more snow than we did, which added an extra degree of difficulty.

Sam brought out a nice looking CJ-8
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/mr5oh/sam1.jpg
Dan had removed his doors for a little better visibility:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/mr5oh/danp1.jpg
Shortly after this hole though he decided he would put them back on:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/mr5oh/danp2.jpg
Then Dan decided to try this hill, I have yet to see anyone climb this hill, which seem to be incentive for everyone to hit it hard.
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/mr5oh/danp3.jpg
Oddly enough rather than blow up a Dana35 that is locked, he blew apart a TomWoods driveshaft!
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/mr5oh/danp4.jpg
On our way out with Dan driving on the front axle, we tried a few more obstacles, Sam got a little messed up on this hill, he says it was his spotters fault...

A shot of Shanes new stinger in action too:

http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/mr5oh/shaned2.jpg
On Day 2 all the ice that we busted up in the creek almost acted like fiberglass, we couldn't bust through the ice in the thick spots. Dan figured he'd ride out on my stinger and bust up the ice:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/mr5oh/mikec1.jpg
He was jumping up and down on the ice and couldn't bust it, we ended up having to take the long way around:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/mr5oh/mikec2.jpg
Well shortly into the second day, I laid my Jeep on its side! Whoops! She came down pretty hard, startled both the Mrs. and I thats for sure.
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/mr5oh/mikec3.jpg
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/mr5oh/mikec5.jpg
Didn't take to long and we had her back on all fours:
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y249/mr5oh/mikec6.jpg
And can't forget the dog we saved. We had found a black lab that had got loose and gotten tangled up in some razor barb wire. Fortunately before we left Sunday, we were able to find his owners, and dropped him back off at his home, friendly guy, glad we found his home. Otherwise Shane and Carrie were ready to adopt him.

should have hung a wrecking ball off those stingiers.....might have taken care of the Ice
its to cold out to wheel now...........scenic drive time but not the time to be getting stuck in cold water.
Winter is the time to take the wheeling south.........does Key West have a rock pile?

Hey Mike..forgot to ask..any carnage from your side plant? loose your mirror? bust a window? crunch a door? etc.....Actually I got lucky. When it first happened my flares were pretty crunched, but as soon as we got it off of the flares they popped right back out. The sliders and the wheeels/tires took most of it. There aren't any dents. I can't clean the mud off yet since its not supposed to get about 5 degrees for at least a week, but best I can tell I don't think I even scratched any paint.

Maybe even shake the mud off the seat covers! But if you always have some counterweight (A.K.A. girlfriend/wife), there is less mud on the seats!!! :D :D

lol, I dont think my girlfriend counts as counterweight she is only like 105 pounds. I guess she needs to gain some weight. graemlins/49.gif

how do you all clean the inside?Yeah I get weird looks at the car wash when I'm taking the pressure washer to the inside of my Jeep.
Anyways, anyone who knows me, knows I keep my Jeep very clean, its not unusual for me to wax my Jeep at least once a week. The mud isn't that bad to clean off, and whats the point in have a built Jeep if you aren't going to have fun in it. :D I've been on many trips, and I do have my fair share of tree branch scratches and such, but my Jeep still shines up decently.
Trust me even though this took a while to clean, it was a blast, plus I got bragging rights of being the only person to cross that hole that day... :D

Omg, that is like the cleanest jeep ive ever seen. lol. As soon as my jeep is done I plan on wheelin it hard in the mud, but there is no way I could ever get it that clean. I suck at cleaning thats why it scares me. YJ, I must admit I would probably be the one to give you a dirty look spraying the inside of your ride off. But that is a good idea, never really thought about that. How do you get all the mud caked under it off? No matter what I do I cant get some of the mud under my jeep off.

How do you get all the mud caked under it off? No matter what I do I cant get some of the mud under my jeep off.Usually just take it to the car wash and use the pressure washer. The first time I really washed my Jeep I took a scrub brush to the entire frame to get any dirt off, then afterwards I put a good thick coat of gloss black paint on everything. Getting a good coat of paint on the underside will help ensure mud comes off easier after that.
As for the top side, waxing your Jeep will help the mud come off much easier.

well mike was trying to get up the one hill and taking a few different lines he ended up with his passenger tire firmly planted into a ditch. so we went to run his winch out....and....nothing happened...no click no turning nothing.
so we pull him down with a strap and get him on level ground (mean while dan payne blows up the hill like it was a speed bump) anyways mike has the hood popped looking for burnt wires, starts tracing them around and what do ya know there is a funny red wire sitting there not on the battery
mike has always told us to have a good ground, which he did have a nice clean ground to the battery, but it appears it is just as important to also have 12volts to actually power the winch :-D
mike, ur so smrt (http://new.photos.yahoo.com/wissemdc/album/576460762388342981/photo/294928804216907256/41)

Hey, do you guys know these guys in this vid? Hope not! they are way too dangerous to wheel with! (not for people on dial up! Takes hours to download!)

The guy in that S10 is completely retarded and VERY lucky.

That sure was funny to watch. I agree that the driver of the S-10 isn't the sharpest nail in the box, but he does have a good looking truck. I sure would be pissed if a two stap came through my rear window and dented my tail gate as well. Wasn't it funny that the tow truck needed recovery too?
