New tires?

OK, so I went to paragon on sat. I neede new tyires before I went, but Now I really need new tires.
I was just wondering how are the MT Baja Radial MTX ? cause my jeep right now is mainly street use, and I need some tires that is a good performer all around, without spending too much.

and just to be sure, stock rim lug spaceing is 5x4.5, right?

They were on my YJ when I bought it.

Just an OK tire in my opinion. Claimed to be 32" tall (32 X11.5X15's), but on an 8" rim and aired up, BARELY cleared 30 1/2". Ride on the street was OK. Didn't stay on the Jeep for too long....

Upgraded to BFG MT's (33 X 12.5's).

I would recommend any of the BFG tires - all terrains, MT's. Good ride on the street, tough on the trail and you'll run alot of miles on them if you take care of them.

Isnt the Mtx made by mickey thompson>? Because of what StrongWind said, I have heard many other people tell me mickey thompson tires run very small. It could just be in my head but when I see jeeps next to each other with big tires I can always tell which one is by mickey thompson because they look smaller. Or maybe im just stupid, lol could be. graemlins/49.gif
