Ok so im new to this whole Wrangler game.

I tried to take the doors off for the first time the other night and for the life of me could not get the hinge pins out after removing the nuts on them.

and would I want to get this (http://www.quadratec.com/products/13120_01.htm) or somthing like it for a mirror solution.

Thanks

The first time there a pain in the ass to get off. Go to your local parts store, if you have a CarQuest they sell a round 4" mirror with bracket for 8$ get a nut and bolt and your set.

The doors will probably need to be rocked back and forth with a lifting force..be sure to maintain your ballance and grip on the doors as once they come off, they are heavy and you could mess up a paint job on both the hood, side panel and or door..as for the mirrors, the quick mirror you have in mind is just fine, thats what I use.

Whats the best way to get the pin out. I put the nut back on for a few threads and then lightly hit it with a rubber mallet and could not get the pin to budge

BTW if it matters its a 04 Unlimited

After you get the doors off for the first time, smear a light coat of marine grease on the pins before putting them back on, they will come out smooth as butter next time.
