^^You should share stories too, as not everyone has heard how you managed that one.... Heck I've heard the story of how you did that and I"m still not sure how that happened... :D

So this picture is in a hole that got rather deep. My buddy (who has 10 times more wheeling expierence than I) in a XJ that was built backed out of this. I pulled him out and decided I'd be Mr. BadAss and drive through it. Well it got deeper than this picture and I sucked up water in the motor. I shut if off quick enough and had to change it twice on the trail to get as much water as I could out of it. Then several oil changes over the next week or so to get the rest of the water out.

http://www.cdmfabrication.com/bbpics/waterflare.jpg

Then I'll be darned if I didn't do the same thing in the same park not two trips later.... I'll never learn.....

Story #2:

So halfway up this obstacle I need my winch. I believe Dan ran the cable out, and I go to hit the remote and nothing. So I believe Sam came up and help pull me out with his winch, after we get to the bottom and I start checking things, cussing Warn for making another junk product. Pop the hood and am checking everything out, then I'm like huh whats this big red cable just hanging there. Yeah you have to hook the winch to the battery for it to work.... Doh! Ironically I had this sweatshirt on at the time too:

Oh and I'll add, your spotter knows best. I don't care how well you think you know your Jeep, you don't know where its at better than your spotter.... Thats how you end up in these situations.... :D

Here is a pic. on the last wheeling trip. My axles got buried in a mud hole I didnt think was that deep. My 30 mud tires had no chance against it. So this army guy pulled me out.

This is in the middle of Hairpin at Slade. It stalled, so luckily i turned the key, started it back up, turned the wheel, and it fell back on all fours. it was actually balanced on the sides of my tires and the step on my rocker guards, so no body damage from it :D

Those were "other people's" Jeeps. I'm somewhat lucky when it comes to water, I just float over it :D .

Look at the water line on this guy I pulled out, he wasted the tranny in it, but saved the motor.

We had to tow him 15 miles from 10,500 ft down to 6,000 ft on a winding dirt road. It seems I'm always recovering someone...

That just made my tow truck picture look like nothing. I went wheeling, drove to work and then my transmissions fluid dumped out and the driveshaft wouldnt engage along with a few other things. It was from a few love taps on some rocks.
