so now that everyone who bought a jeep within the past year or so are kicking themselves.....kinda like the APPLE/iPhone thingy...what VOIDS the lifetime warranty...
i assume just about anything short of adding larger tires would void it, so what good is it on a Wrangler?
a lift affects drivetrain, aside from the engine/tranny...changing the angles of the driveshaft would probably throw up a red flag at the dealership...obviously changing gears, or better yet, changing axles...bye bye lifetime on the axles...SYE/CV shaft...bye bye TC...
so is it really worth it for the lifetime on the engine and tranny? as long as nothing i've mentioned voids the warranty on those 2 things, then i guess it is still worth it....but are they gonna be pissy about changing your own oil? they really need their 30 bucks every couple months i guess....
(and yes, i still take my 06 to the dealer for maintenance for just that reason, lol)
what do you guys think?
