since they look a little longer than the TJs, does that aid in the better ride? and since they are curved, i assukme that is better for rubbing issues when bigger tires are added....?

the longer arms will make lifting the JK easier. you can actually go a full 4" and not even think about aftermarket arms if you want.... but the rubber bushings will eventually blow out....

a TJ at factory ride height has basically the same angle on the control arms as a JK.. the difference comes with height. 4" was considered the max -PERIOD- before having to go long arms. I've seen a few pics of JKs at 5,6 and even 8 inches of lift... all except the 8" lifted JK had OEM arms.

there is at least one long arm kit on the market, but i dont think it will be on my shopping list. Hell... Until last January, I had less than $500 in my 5.5" suspension on the ZJ. ;)

the angle comes mainly to the outward mounting points that DCX chose. the arms just do clear the 32" tires on my Rubicon, so anything larger does require wheel spacers or wheels with a shallower offset.

well, now i'm thinking of trading the TJ in for a JK when the lease is up...had planned on buying it, but with the lifetime drivetrain thingy going on, might as well get in on the action....hopefully when i'm ready to trade it in for a new one, this promo will still be going...

get down there and test drive one.

i can only recommend that you make sure you put 10 or more miles under the tires on varying roads... and carry the wife and kids. ;)

doing those things are what influenced my decision and helped me out.

4 door is a little much than i need, i like smaller more maneuverable...plus i already have the XJ for carrying stuff like your one post, lol. and the dog...rather have her in the older vehicle anyway! smile.gif !
