I have 2007 4dr Unlimited. I do not have a lift on it, but may put one on later down the line. I'm looking to replace the stock tires with All Terrains but keeping my rims.
I have P245/75 R16. What is the breakdown or what size can I get for my Jeep without rubbing happening.
thanks

I believe you can run 33's ok (285/75R16)

the ideal tire size would be a 33-10.50 which is pretty popular for lightly built Jeeps. My Rubicon has the BFG M/Ts on it... I did a quick comparison the other day. the "32 inch" tires on the rubi are the same height as the 33-12.50 Exterrains on my ZJ. Taller but narrower actually.
With no lift, you can usually get away with a 33 for diameter, but in keeping your stock rims, i'd suggest the 10.50 width. if you experience rubbing while turning, you may consider quality wheel spacers. Quadratec carries Teraflex and Poison Spider... which are both reputable names.
your other option is to locate some Rubicon wheels and tires. ;)
there are a bunch of rubi owners that modded their rigs and are selling the wheels and tires. i actually like mine. if only they were a tad taller... :D

Agree w/b1pig! I kept my stock wheels when I got my 35's, just got the Teraflex spacers, new wheels are on the "to do list"...... smile.gif
