I have found a wire harness for my JK but it costs 80 bucks...Has anyone seen one that is cheaper...I talked to crutchfield and they said they don't have one...

it is probably to bypass and or adapt the issues with the CanBus system... which is difficult to adapt stereos to.

my basic understanding is that it is a low voltage signal system. rather than having wires with 12v go all over the place, there are wires that either sense or switch ground, carry 5v (on avg) for switching voltage... etc..
on the '07, EVERYTHING runs through the computer. even the stereo.
