i have decided to add a 2" coil and spacer suspension lift kit to my 2007 wrangler...but one question has come up...rumor has it that the steering will become "loose"...any truth to the rumor? i do not want to compromise the factory ride...

likewise, once i get the lift on it, i am going to add american racing serious 1085 16x8 rims with bf goodrich 33x12.5x16r tires...i also just added some windshield kc slimlites...

starting looking good...

while i dont know your situation, a b/b is actually a very good learning experience if you are buddied up with someone with either Jeep specific experience or a very knowlegable mechanic. good way to get your skills improved.

as for "loose" steering.. the only way that could really be an issue, is if the caster is out of whack after the lift. always a possibility any time you change anything in the suspension. if your Jeep gets real bad wander with no "return-to-center" in the steering, then you may want to look at adding a cam bolt kit for caster adjustment.

Hi pretty new to this, but added 2' skyjacker lift with mono shocks, pretty easy, had to winch things back together, but worth the trouble. sits a little high in the rear but actually rides better. Have the 18" wheels, plan to get taller tires some day. good luck

did you use a coil lift or spacers? (b/b)
