ok.

for those of you with the 6 disc stereo. pay attention.

i had the single disc stereo in my JK as delivered. with some searching, i found a 6 disc radio with sirius on ebay and nailed it for $150. installed it and confirmed that it plays DVDs just fine. it's the same radio used across the Chrysler line with in vehicle DVD playback. there is a spot on the back of the radio for a plug... i guess its for the rear seat kit.

anyway, it's an easy "fix" to get some wires and "slip" them over the two pins for the video output. I did that when i installed the stereo.

i finally went to the stereo shop the other day and got a basic 7" monitor and tonite i installed it above the rear view mirror. suh-weet!!

Would be intresting to see if you could hook up a cpu to it, with the idea of using it as a GPS,

if you have either a "car-puter" that is custom built... or a laptop or GPS with a standard NTSC video output... not with this one.

however... there are others that are more expenside that have VGA inputs. it's purely how much you want to spend.

I already have a plan to add a rear view camera to the monitor. :D
