Here is an abrieviated list of some of my top picks.

-jet chip
-skid row engine skid
-budget boost
-extended brake lines
-shocks only (like bilsein 5150 or 7100 series...)

skid: If you going to wheel it hard enough to use it

BB: should be cheap but would look funny without bigger tires

extended brake lines: Why?? Even with the BB do you really need them?

Shocks: no sence till you lift it or is the ride that bad?

what about upgrading the sound system?

i am satisfied right now with the sound system right now.... already "upgraded" to play DVDs.

as for the brake lines... the rears are kinda short. I think that even a respectable b/b would require them to really get the most out of it. The way i am thinking about it is that I set up the JK for a low lift, but maximize the articulation with "the right" shocks, enxtended lines, etc....

using that line of thought as well, the engine skid is a strong possibility also. as for wheeling it...

what do you think?.... tongue.gif

I have seen pics of JKs at stock height with 35s... so with 2 or 3 inches of lift, the right shocks, discos on the front (the factory swaybar i think is too short to match the flexability of the axle) and other little things, the JK could be one of the best rigs with a minimal lift. the only concern with that is the break-over angle... and there isnt much to fix it except the engine skid. the OEM tank and t-case skids are decent..... need a front skid, too....

also in the mix are the Pure Jeep front d-ring mounts. i'd have to cut the little soup cans off the from bumer and toss the spastic caps... but they would be way better than the factory tow hooks.

:D

DCX soup. :D

they are little crush cans to account for that 5mph crush zone crap under the bumperettes.
