I'm going to help a friend install a Skyjacker 2" BB on n '08 4 door JK Rubicon. I've installed a similar lift on my TJ which, other than a broken shock bolt, went on pretty easily. What do I have to look out for on the JK lift and what are the differences from a TJ lift?

Thanks for the help

really nothing different than the TJ. on the rear, you can get by with removing the 10mm bolts that hold the frame end of the brake lines. you dint have to remove there rear swaybar links.

the front, you will have to disco the swaybar links.... otherwise, it is the same process. unbolt the lower shock mounts. you dont have to remove the shock unless you are installing new ones. once you do that, the axle will drop most of the way out on it's own. the r/f has to be twisted around into place. the lf/ is a little easier. the rear... hell, i had a hard time keeping the coils up there to jack the axle back against it!

should be as easy as a TJ.

Thanks for the info. It sounds easier than the TJ since the front swaybar will disconnect automatically and you don't have to disconnect the rear. He's not replacing the shock at this time since he only has 800 miles on it so far.
