Does anyone have any expierence with this bumper? Do the factory tow hooks still work or are the "D" rings the only option? I've got the Warn Poweplant on my '91 Wrangler and want to put it on my '08 Rubicon using this bumper. I like it because it looks like you can keep the factory fog lights and drop the winch down a bit. Do the fog lights have to be adjusted in any way once you put the bumper on? Any info. would be appreciated. Thanks.

while i dont have any "personal" experience with the bumper, I have taken a look at it. I like it and consider it one of the best choices.
while i dont know for sure, it doesnt look like factory tow hooks will fit the height. either way, i consider the $90 or so for the shackles worth it. when used properly, they are far more stout and safe than hooks.

Thanks for the info. I've read some good reviews about this bumper so I think it's the one I'll go with once I get my tax return (come on IRS, show me the money).
Those shackles are $139.99. The picture online shows some black ones but they don't seem to be available, just the stainless. Thanks again. I'll try and remember to post something about the install once I finally get it done.

i was looking at the pure jeep mounts.

cant see any reason why they wouldnt work on there. judging by the pics anyway, the black d-rings are included with the center section.

I have this bumper on my jeep. By default, it comes with the d-rings....the extra $140 is for a shiny d-ring, I believe.

Overall, this was easy to install....I did it by myself in under 2 hours. I took a long time because I kept stopping to take pictures.
No, you can't use your factory tow hooks....you won't need them anymore, though. Trust me, it looks much nicer with the d-rings that are on there.

Hey,
Thanks for putting the picture. That does look really good. I agree, those D-rings do look better than the hooks.
I ordered mine yesterday but I think it's on back order. I'll post a picture once I finally get it installed.I didn't order the end pieces though. I'll have to get creative in order to put my front license plate on though. Might have to weld something btwn the fog lights. Stupid Texas and their requirement for front plates!
Thanks again for the info.

i think there are brackets somewhere that will let you bolt your plate onto the fairlead.
