I've got a vacuum leak in my Ford Ranger and I have no idea how to find it. Does anyone have any tips on how to efficiently find a vacuum leak?
A friend told me you can use starter fluid by spraying it vary lightly near vacuum lines (you have to be extremely careful doing this that you don't spray too much) and if there is a leak on that line the engine will rev higher for a second due to the starter fluid being sucked through the line. I really don't want to try this method because I don't want to screw things up worse.
