Oil Stains

As some of you may know, the rear main seal of the YJ was leaking. So it left its "mark" in the driveway. How can I go about removing it or at least getting most of it out? Thanks for the help!

gasoline and oil dry will get alot of it up...as long as you're not worried about the EPA

is your driveway concrete? If it is try some brake clean or carb clean and a rag. usually at the garage the next day there is a clean spot.

Its concrete. Just let the cleaner soak and dab it up?

yeah I personally have sprayed the crud out of a couple oil spots then wipe them with a rag-- you will end up with a damp spot but when that dries it is usually pretty clean

Grind some cat litter into the stain with the heal of your foot apparel. Brake clean works well also...

pressure washer works wonders....not to good on the environment but it keeps your driveway clean :-)

dawn dish soap and a scrub brush...but i'm a glutton for punishment

Once you spray that little spot, you'll see how dirty the rest of the driveway is. It'll be an endless task...:D

True knuckelhead...decided to do that one after noon to clean up the jeep stains and was out there all day doing the ENTIRE driveway....it sucked pretty bad

Just rub a little dirt on the clean spot and be done with it...:cool:

How about concrete cleaner. Used many time and works good.
