98 Jeep TJ Wrangler Sport
THE GOOD:
only 104K miles
runs like a champ, does not smoke
chili pepper red
4.0 6-cylinder
32" mud king tires in great shape (except for a little rash on the outside edges in the front)
new upper oxygen sensor
new Banks header, very nice
new Old Man Emu steering stabilizer
new Bestop safari bikini top
new windshield channel
new Bestop Trailmax rear seat
new BesTop rear bumper
new Kilby front bumper with integrated winch plate
new (and newER) seat belt assemblies that are very clean
THE BAD:
needs power steering shaft seal installed ($2.99 part from Advance Auto Parts)
needs a speed sensor installed or maybe just reconnected (real easy to get to)
doesn't have a full top or doors (both can be had for $800 total)
some "battle scars" from trail riding

Me too, but I've got $17,000 worth of damage to my roof and I need to spend even more and increase the slope or else this will happen again. I'm definitely not going to just give it away though, it's a solid jeep and I can come up with the roof cash by moonlighting as a male prostitute.

Sorry to get kinda off-topic what happened to your roof? What slope is it at now? round here ya gotta have 4/12 to have a architectural or at least a 3 tab. You gonna do new trussing, or just lay down isofoam to at least build it up a little bit? Sorry just curious :thumbsup:

What happened was that a bunch of storms this spring made my shingles curl up and break their seal, but then they laid back down again. So, it looked fine, but my roof was too flat for 3-d shingles, like 1:12, so it leaked all over the place even though it looked fine. I put new trusses down and raised the pitch to maybe a 3:12, but then put metal on top. Right now I'm stripping all the drywall and insulation and it's taking longer and being more expensive than I had expected.
On September 2, eBay starts having free insertion fees, so I guess it'll probably end up there.
