Sun was bright today and it was 60 degrees so D.A. me decides to put the new top on. Fought it from 12 noon till 2 PM, gave up, put a strap across it and drove 2 miles to my neighbors garage. He fired the stove till it hit 85 degrees, gave it an hour to warm up and the top was still tight, but between me pulling and him pushing on the back bow I got the header snapped. After that it was a picnic! The top is tight as a drum but the windows have some wrinkles yet. But it does look nice, especially with the sliding windows and I am proud of it. It is hard to believe the top lacked 4 inches at 60 degrees!

The windows wil fix themselves the first time the top gets hot. I've had my windows creased before or stretched from something pushing on them from the inside and always think I've screwed them up then the sun comes out and warms everything including the windows and my heart.......
Man it's been a long day.

The next time you do it, plug in a blow dryer and heat up each section that you are trying to stretch on. It took less than five minutes per section. It worked for me on a brand new top in 40F weather.

And believe them when they say you cannot use Sunrider parts to make your factory TJ soft top into a Sunrider.
