First link starts by talking about the number of lawsuits that particular lawyer has initiated...

Third link claims of "secrecy" in his birth certificate...

Snopes (whatever you think that's worth) states that lawsuits to a candidates eligibility are not uncommon...

I think it's make believe for people who hope that Obama doesn't get elected...kinda like it's the Bush haters who believe he set up, or allowed 9-11 to happen

Kinda makes me mad that whenever there is division it's immediately the left radical left winger or that extreme right war monger...Many people jump right to extreme names/adjectives...

I've said it once, I'll say it again...both major candidates are good men...Both would do a good job. I'm voting for Obama because I agree with his thought train more than McCain's.

I've heard it all. We couldn't be so lucky as to get rid or obama that easily.

I'm not sure I buy into this one, but it was interesting? The thing that bothers me is this Democrat, ex-attorney general, seems to be involved in several "conspiracy-theory" type lawsuits.

Last I heard today was that the lawsuit was dismissed by the judge. The guy that filed the suit needs some more tinfoil.

It seems as though Palin's legal issues get more air time than this. From what I have come across, her situation it seems objectionable and caters to perception.

Even if Baraq gets voted in and later found out he was ineligible to run, the Democrats will state that the vote was robbed by the Right. His backers might not even care where he was born and still support his candidacy for the office.

I just filled in my ballot. Now, I need to deliver it to the county clerk.

Also, one of the eligibility requirements for being president of the United States should be that you cannot be, or have been, a lawyer. ( :D )

You know, somehow I ended up with two lawyers in my family, my sister and her husband. They are both raging democrats. The only nice thing I can say about my brother-in-law is that at least I've got him deer hunting now (this will be his second year). As for my sister, well, she's a lawyer. I can't say anything nice, so I won't. Lawyers and politicians have no place in the real world anymore. For the most part they are all so far out of touch with what's the reality of what's going on that they are useless.

Not necessarily. The lawyers are those who can find the loopholes in laws as to make life more difficult. As a politician, it can make life frustrating.

The old Murphy Brown show (staring Candice Bergan) had a good take on lawyers on one episode..Murphy came in and said, "you know why the lion was walking behind the elephant eating it's dung? To get the Lawyer taste out of it's mouth".

I guess my statement was a broad generalization, but considering the amount of lawyers and politicians I've had contact with through my sister I stand by it. 95% of 'em are useless.

I haven't met a lawyer or politician that I liked. It's all about $$$ and Power...

I don't mind $$$. It does make life more liveable. But, not to the point where someone gets greedy or becomes a work-a-holic to make extra $$$.

Don't forget that they're willing to throw anyone under the bus to protect themselves or make an extra dollar.

Politicians or Lawyers or both? I would think it would be Politicians because they would want to distance their associations with strong negative characters who may damage their popularity.

I can relate to being thrown under the bus but will put aside my rant on that.

Yes, both. Lawyer's will defend a guilty man because he has money. They will sue an innocent man because he has money. Politicians sell their votes, give themselves pay raises, and cover up whatever they can to try to look good to the public. Most politicians were, or are, lawyers, and none of them can be trusted.

That is my problem with alot of lawyers and politicians, I have no problem with money or power, lets face it, it makes the world go round.
When wealth and power culminate in someone who also possesses character and ethics, they can acheive great things.
Its the greed, betrayel, lies, etc. that money and power most often bring that is the real problem.
