Friend up Virginia way got got a great deal on one of these.
Seem the scooter had just 1200 miles, the guy & his wife just had baby and need a second car so the scoot was sold to my friend.
Anybody know about these or have one...I think they are kinda cool

All I can tell you is operating it WILL require a either a scooter or motorcycle endorsement depending on the state. I found out today that in FL we have a Scooter endorsement and a motorcycle endorsement. Motorcycle will allow you to operate a all scooter types and motorcycles, but the scooter will only allow you to operate scooters no matter the size.

I know I want one!! You can park anywhere in Chicago with one of those. Plus they can go on the highway.

Any idea on how fast that can go and how quick it accelerates?

I like the look of them they are pretty cool, kind of a stripped down scooter.

:rolleyes:...I admit, I have mixed feelings on scooters..especially in large cities..usually it will be the "inexperienced" rider on a scooter and their life span is seriously decreased!

That's a ruckus 50. The big ruckus is, well, bigger. I used to have an Elite 250, Acceleration wasn't big bike quick but it had no problems holding 60.

My friend's is the 07 model (Silver) 06 was Solar yellow (anyway thats what he told me )
He also owns and 08 Vespa GLS , he lives outside of DC.
That is a two edge sword though, parking & commute nightmare so a scoot is handy
but the Drivers there are the rudest & worst in the country.
The one I saw in town was Solar yellow. Kind looks like an updated Cushman ,
this thing is kinda cool for a commuter , it's not for touring.
I'm Still liking the Vstar.
