AC/DC causes recession (http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2008/oct/27/acdc-music-recession)
To summarize,
They formed during the '73 oil crisis
Back in Black was released during record inflationary times
And now Black Ice is released during the current economic crisis.
I like their music but even so... They must be stopped!! :( :D

LOL on a semi related note I heard that like two weeks after guitar hero-Aerosmith was released the band made more on the game than they had made on any of their albums.

Guitar Hero is great for getting kids away from that rap crap and introducing them to some great rock music..on the other hand, I think it misleads them into thinking that they can play a real guitar..

There was a guitar hero south park episode where one of the kids was so good at the game, he could play acoustic...:D
I've only heard AC/DC's new single, any opinions yet on the new album?
Guitar Hero is great for getting kids away from that rap crap and introducing them to some great rock music..on the other hand, I think it misleads them into thinking that they can play a real guitar..
There is no comparison to playing a real guitar. Granted... some of the techniques and experience from guitar hero may help someone learn how to play a real guitar.
I'll be the first to admit... I SUCK at real guitars... But, I'm getting better at Guitar Hero. :D

I wouldnt say its their best album they have put out but I like it. They havnt changed much it still sounds like AC/DC
