Selling the TLR....No really i am!

I hate to do it, i really do. Times are getting tight, and gotta pay the bills. I really need the money. It sure has been a fun ride though. Nothing like these bikes.

I most likley will sell it locally, but i'm just looking for pricing opinion.

Its a 2000 with a little over 11k miles. Its got brand new (within the last 2 months) PCIII, chain and sprocket, ft tire, brakes ft and bk, fork seals, seat and lots of little repairs (fuel gasket, starter relay, TPS adj, plugs, body bolts, fluids, K&N intake etc)

I'm planning to let my Joe Rocket textile jacket and Pit bull stand go with it. I'm not planning to get another sport bike, i wont need them anymore. Both only about 2 months old.

$4500 for everything sound resonable? Blue book puts it at $4700 in excellent condition, and averege milage should be 30k or more. I figure subtracting the little bit of damage it has, and adding the jacket and stand would put it around $4500.

I may have to. I thought about it. I know i'm pushing the sale at an odd time of year, but i just want to get everything paid off before i get a house.

Start at 5k and come down. Drive it around Ft. Benning once and you'll have guys beggin to take it off you hands. Don't forget your reflective vest if you're going to be out there. Good luck with the sale and I may have a house you can buy if you want it ;).

Dude...that sucks! that's a fine bike. I understand though, times are pretty tough. It is kind of an odd time of year though, market it as a Christmas gift...feel free to ask me for my friends and familiy's numbers...

i actually have a friend who wants to trade me his 2005 Suzuki LTZ-400Z with minor mods for the ZJ. he's supposed to pay it off in February.... Lori said go for it... that will take the ZJ off insurance and then both of us can go riding at the ATV park. i hate waiting.

I wish i could work something out. Its hard for me to travel, i have little to no time. Most i could do i maybe north alabama, but you still got to drive 2 states. It takes a lot of gas to haul with the jeep too.

Or you could make a road trip and i'll buy you a beer for the trouble! 4bob4 could meet us down here! :thumbsup:

Hah! Sounds good. Oh. Just remembered. I've still got 1/4 bottle of 750mL bottle of Crown and a whole 1L bottle of Crown Reserve that I ain't even opened yet, still got a 6 pack in the fridge of Bud Light Lime. I'm set. As long as you or Billy don't get me for "open containers" :p
