So where is your favorite place to go and where would you like to go.

I snowboard haven't been to many places out side of Oregon but I have been to Whistler-Blackcomb that is my favorite so far. We have a single lift ski hill (http://www.lakecountychamber.org/skihill.html)near the town I live in it's fun and close but kind of expensive for just one short lift and only open on weekends and holidays and I have Wed.- Thurs. off so that kind of sucks.
There is a lot of places I want to go, but this year I think I will try and get down to Heavenly (http://www.skiheavenly.com/) at Lake Tahoe.

Hard to beat W-B. Jackson Hole will always be mine, suposed to be No. 1 with riders. Back east, Killington is as good as it gets. If you like it rough, Mad River Glen is it (Modo - "ski it if you can", we say "ski it when you can"). They still use a single chair and no snow making.
I usually do CO 2X a year but it will be once this year, usually Winter Park/Mary Jane, or A-Basen, or Loveland, they don't get the huge crowds. I patrol at Berkshire East (40 yrs) and practicly live there during the winter.

I snowboard been to schweitzer, mt. spokane, brundage, bogus basin, but favorites have been tamarack and sun valley. Bogus basin is about a 30-40 minute drive from boise for good skiing, so surprisingly enough, there's a ton of skiiers/boarders here, alot of them very very good too.

I have not skied for years (15 maybe more) when snowboarding was allowed at less than 50% of the ski areas. Areas that I have skied are in Colorado; Idewile, Geniva Basin (both closed), Loveland, A-Basin, Keystone, Eldora, Brekenridge, Winter Park (Colorado), Copper Mountain and Vail. I liked Vail, but it was too long of a commute for a single day of skiing. Copper Mountain had the best conditions and varied terrain.

I've heard that skiing. One time, some lady who was out of control and yelling "Get out of the way!!!!" took out a little kid. While the lady was getting up, she asked the kid why she did not get out of the way... I felt like taking the lady out and asking HER why she didn't get out of my way.

BTW, just the vision of Doc snowboarding in a kilt just makes parts of me cringe (some parts will remain unidentified here).

I've been skiing at a bunch of places up in VT, most of the time I ski Okemo because my parents have a house 8 miles from there. Also skied Vail, Beaver Creek, Copper, and A-Basin in CO. I can't wait to get to BC, the Chugach range, and I've heard Telluride and Silverton have some of the best snow in CO.
