Same. Here's a pic of me at the Christmas Story house taken last winter. Notice the leg lamp in the front window?:

Does it still work? I remember my grandma on my dad's side had one she still used when I was little.

yeah it works but if you look real close, hanging over the drain hose is a little grey hose that is a foot activated vacum that works the ringers..the one I have has rotted out and I need to replace it..I use the washer to wash out and recycle my grease rags.

I am reluctant to watch the new ones, although i will give Elf a shot.

LITTLE DRUMMER BOY (http://www.keyframeonline.com/Animation/The_Little_Drummer_Boy/82/) was one of my favorites. I could relate to it mainly because I could have become just like the main character in the same way just prior to the release of the feature. In the early 1980's, it fell victim to the politically correct police by "depicting middle easterners in a bad light".:mad:
NBC stopped airing the program after many complaints of Anti-Arabism.

Growing up, I knew that there were good people and bad people in society. It is a good story and one that should be told more today than anytime since it was made. :soapbox:

I dont know if this fits as a Christmas movie or not because some of it has to do with Thanksgiving, but Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.
Absolutely, hilarious.
