Picked these to up for dirt cheap, both run. Im going to strip the tote gote's paint and try to match the factory yellow. The tote gote has a Briggs and Stratton that runs perfect.

1959 tote gote

1969 honda

That tote gote's a cool little vehicle. What's it's original use?

The ToteGoat, or Pak Jak, I believe was built by a fellow named J.W. Black, of Paradise, California.

From another Board..."
Just finished reading "Off the Beaten Path in Baja" and he was in it quite a bit. He made an assortment of of off road rigs in the early '60's with names like Pak Jak, Burrito, Butterfly and Grasshopper. They were used to explore the roadless areas of Baja by Erle Gardner of Perry Mason fame. In the book he was said to be from Paradise, this was in '67 that the book was published."

I use to have both of those! Sold the tote goat for a cushman 3 wheel servicar and the honda step thru, well we rode it into the dirt...ah, the good ole days! If my memory serves me, thats a 90cc unit aint it? or do you have the 50cc version?

yeah its a 90cc. They are both really fun bikes to ride on, especially the tote gote. Looking at the tote gotes engine really shows the quality of stuff back then, I dont think there is a single plastic part on the whole bike.
