I haven't. I'm afraid to test drive a new truck. I want the new Mustang with the 412 HP 5.0. If I were to look at the F150, it would HAVE to be a Raptor with the new 6.3L (or whatever the actual size is now), or the new F350s with the new all Ford diesel. I hear that thing will out pull mine all day every day stock for stock. And it gets MUCH BETTER mileage too. I just don't care for the new grill. But, I do have a spare 08 grill in storage.

sad as it makes me to say it... i do like the Raptor. it is one of the most functional 4x4's on the market. there are a couple around here. one guy uses it for hauling his landscaping trailer... pretty well i might add.


i'm still hoping to maybe one day put a supercharger on the JK. that will prevent my desires for having a new truck.

HAHAHAHA!!! The RAPTOR is one BAD ASS truck. Only complaint I've heard/read was the original versioin had the smaller V8 and was a bit under powered. Other then that, everyone I know of LOVES their RAPTORS...

The Raptor is comming under heavy criticism lately with more and more bent frames. Seems there is a week spot where the rear bump stops attach.

Oh and if you havent guessed yet...I love my truck too.

Hadn't heard anyting on the frame. I know the new 6.2L V8 cured the power problems of the earlier versions. Sitting over 400HP NA...

Granted, if someone uses the truck for what it was purchased for, I'm sure jumping it over and over and over and over will eventually produce weak points in anything... It's still the baddest freaking truck on the market.

Oh yeah, if you haven't done it yet. Watch the Top Gear video on Youtube of the F150 Raptor Hennessy... Nearly 500HP thanks to a few bolt ons from Hennessy.
